The wildflower meadow
Our 3 acre meadow is at its best from Mid-May to Mid-July.
It is a mixed perennial grass and wildflower meadow, flowering in steady succession from late March when the first cowslips start to flower, continuing right through the summer with clover, cranesbills, vetches, ragged robin and meadowsweet.
We mow a simple path through it and there's nothing quite like walking through a meadow on a summer day, watching the butterflies and bees make the most of the sunshine.
